EUCON 2017 COSTUME CONTEST TAKES PLACE 11/11/17 with time and location to be announced
EUCON’s cosplay contest is a must see event for the entire family! Our 2016 contest attracted nearly 100 entries and we gave out over $2000 in prizes and cash awards! The cosplay contest takes place the Saturday evening during EUCON. We have guest cosplayers evaluate costumes based on craftsmanship and quality. We hold our kids costume contest and march in the afternoon on Sunday.

Cosplay Contest Rules
One entry per contestant per category. Entry is limited and based on a first come, first serve basis. Costumes must be constructed by the contestant(s) and at least 60% of the costume must be of original construction. Store bought or prefabricated costumes are not allowed.
Special prizes may be awarded to participants at random.
All prop weapons must conform to EUCON’s prop weapons policy.
No nudity. No costume is not a costume. Body paint only is not a costume. No pasties. Costumes deemed to be inappropriate will be disqualified. Please keep in mind that EUCON is a family friendly event.
No profanity allowed on stage including on signs or clothing, no political or religious statements or messages.
Due to time restraints, we are unable to accommodate skits, video, music, or any special effects during the contest.
Please do not throw objects from the stage or use any sort of projectiles.
No explosive devices, fireworks, pyrotechnics, or similar special effects are to be used.
Only enter and exit the stage area at the designated points or as requested by EUCON staff.
If you have a large elaborate costume, be sure to bring some help.
All awards given are at the discretion of the judges and their decision is final.
