Haley Sharp is a NASA Solar System Ambassador, and she has been the Planetarium Director at Science Factory since July 2014. Haley is a Pacific Northwest native and despite frequent cloud cover, she has had a lifelong interest in space science. She earned her B.S. in physics from the University of San Francisco and her M.S. in astronomy from San Diego State University where she studied eclipsing binary stars. While she wasn’t named after the comet, she certainly doesn’t mind being associated with it.
